The AXS Orlando Intensive Experience is designed for aspiring artists who have imagined what it would be like to perform on stage as a theme park and/or cruise line performer.

The AXS: Orlando Intensive Experience provides you the opportunity to see behind the scenes how a professional live stage show is produced, rehearsed, and ultimately brought to life on stage.

All participants will be exposed to the highest level of performance excellence while reinforcing lifelong lessons in teamwork, discipline, and artistic growth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I am interested in participating in an AXS: Experience. How do you select your performers?

Performers can be selected by personal invitation by our Adams Davy Talent Division and/or online audition submission. We also scout talent during dance intensives & competitions, High School and collegiate Thespian events, and musical theatre and vocal performances throughout the county.

How many people do you cast for this experience?

The Adams Davy AXS: Orlando Experience cast usually consists of 20-30 performers.

Is there a charge to audition for AXS?

AXS does NOT charge to submit your audition for any of our programs.

How old do I have to be to participate?

Participants must be between 9-20 years old before or on the day of the performance.

The Apprentice group is 9-12 years old

The Teen group is 13-20 years old

"Do I have to be local to participate?

No, we accept candidates from all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico! Since we rehearse in the host city, anyone from across the country is welcome to audition for this opportunity."

What kind of routine or scene will I be performing?

The Adams Davy AXS: Orlando Experience cast will perform up to a 20-minute Custom Theme Park Show in both Walt Disney World and at the Universal Studios Florida Resort

My parents want to know who my chaperones will be?

Veteran adult staff members, both male and female, will serve as chaperones. Many of them coach and teach music, dance, theatre, and drama and have an extensive background in working with young people. Chaperones follow a strictly enforced set of guidelines. A criminal background check is performed on each Staff Chaperone on an annual basis and before being accepted on our staff.

Can my parents come?

YES! Your parents, family, and friends may also attend our AXS: Orlando Experience by purchasing a Friends & Family participation package or simply purchasing a ticket to the show.

Can family and friends, not on the trip, view our performance?

During many of our experiences, Adams Davy will provide a Live Broadcast during dress rehearsals a few days before our official performance. Unfortunately, due to performance rights and copyright laws, we are unable to livestream the official performance(s).
